by the ARK team on Transitional Funding Model (TFM). The presentations
included the information package outline of the product focused primarily
for the First Nations Health Departments. The presentations elaborated
on the Three Key Pillars of Transitional Funding Model as –

• Multi-Year Work plan;

guidelines and process parameters.
About
the Product
This
product was a perfect training and management package for the First
Nation Health Departments designed with a sole objective of developing
the skills of the community workforce in the areas of basic operation,
management, planning and budgeting. The workforce will then be better
prepared to carry out their duties more efficiently and effectively
by attaining a higher level of Certification under TFM with these skills
and insights.
This
product is an advanced version of the conventional Strategic Package
of ARK that is intended for different Cross functional business domains.
This product is specifically tailored toward a capacity building package
for Community Health center staff to help them by setting up a reporting
structure for their FNIHB (First Nations Inuit Health Branch) programs
and reports. Also, staged process tools to help the Health center achieve
and implement the Transitional Funding Model.
Finally,
the process is more about just fundamental decisions and actions because
choices must be made in order to device the best possible management
staff for the community. The results are to get the community moving
towards self development. The plan is ultimately no more, and no less,
than a set of tools about what to do, why to do it, and how to do it.
Moreover,
a Community strategic plan can be complex, challenging, and even tough
to achieve and implement, but with capable training professionals and
the right capacity building models it is always a better choice to implement
this package for your community and ensure success. Defined by the basic
ideas outlined above - you can always return to the ARK to apply for
this training package and negotiate a training schedule for your community
to get your workforce into your own strategic planning process. Tailor
made Community Plans are just that; their goal is to meet the needs
of your community.
